They do not want you to give them a paper assignment, they yearn for a text message, an email, a Facebook like, a Google+ circle for your class. What they need is for you to engage them and provide the inspiration needed to guide them through the learning process. If you are not a Connected Educator you should be thinking about the many reasons why becoming connected is a good thing. I am of the opinion we should meet our students in their element, and for Millennials is all about connectedness.
